House of Tess Designs began as a small studio in Pretoria — a creative space where timeless wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and matric farewell pieces were crafted with love and care.
Each design was handmade, personal, and created to celebrate one-of-a-kind moments.
Over time, that same love for craftsmanship and detail evolved into something new — a longing to bring beauty and comfort into everyday life.

Who is Tess?
Tess is a designer who builds deep, personal connections with her clients since 1987. She doesn’t just design gowns — she creates an experience where each woman feels like the most beautiful version of herself. For Tess, it’s never “fit and go.” She invests the time to understand her client’s personality, what makes her feel confident, and how her body will shine best in a design. This journey often blossoms into lasting friendships, proof of her warmth and people-first approach.
